Capcampus : Can you tell us what you were before being a musician ?
Madita : a child. from the day on I can remember I was obsessed by music. For sure I had some breakpoints like acting.
Capcampus :
It is harder and harder to work in the music business and to get signed for an album. Could you tell our readers "the way to succeed" ?
Madita : Every way is individual so I can´t give any suggestions how to succeed. For me success never stood in first row. I always wanted to be honest and faithfull to myself and my style that´s why it took me over 10 years of my life to get to this point of statisfaction where I can say, yes I would do it the same way again. But maybe you should try to send out your goals in form of a wish to the universe.
Capcampus :
Delicate question : how old are you ?
Madita : Not so delicate for me couse age is nothing that scares me. the only thing I hope is to get old healthy. I am 28 years old.
Capcampus :
You were born in Vienna and you sing in english. Do you plan an international career at first step ?
Madita : No. this was definitly not the intension. I never asked myself in which language I should write or sing. I just did it and what came out first was english. for me as a non native speaker it is very enfranchising to play with expression without beeing stucked in rules.
Capcampus :
Let's get to your music. We get charmed by your delicious voice and the beauty of your lyrics. Where does your inspiration come from ?
Madita : It is not always possible to catch inspiration and to define it as such in same moment. sometimes an impression turns after months into an inspiration and so on. But I can say that daily life is my little book with notes where I can always find for me the right words for the right moment. my biggest inspiration indeed is my partner Vlado.
Capcampus :
At the melody side, we can see a true fusion of genres. Can you tell us more about that ?
Madita : we do music we like and for sure there is not only one direction that touches. electro, jazz, rock, pop, classic and more. all of them have their different vibe but they all try to express one thing: emotion. that´s how we made this album. the first goal was to find the right ingrediens to make the best taste of sense and if it was needed we also built some bridges.
Capcampus :
At the back cover of the album, you are playing with puppets. Should we see there a symbol regarding your life ?
Madita : I see it as a symbol regarding all our lifes. Don´t you sometimes have the feeling that your life on this earth, in that civilization, is played by someone different than you?
Capcampus :
So next step ? Another album in progress ? (Our team can't wait !)
Madita : of course. I am already writing the new album to which I am looking forward and there will be some "Madita written" soon to read. I am planing to put all my poems and short stories together in a book by end of this year.
Capcampus :
Is there a tour planned for France soon ?
Madita : at the moment cost for making a tour are too high so that we are tryind to find a solution to make it possible. It is our wish to make a tour and France would be included.
Capcampus :
What is your favorite sentence ?
Madita : You are what you think.

Your best souvenir ?
Madita : My baby.

Madita : Can't remember!
