This program is specialist training that turns motivated students into effective HR managers capable of working internationally in a field that has been becoming increasingly complex over the last decade.
This MSc will train students to have the strategic, organizational, practical and personal skills needed to become successful HR managers.

Graduates will be able to interface with all the other main functions: marketing / communication, finance, IT, knowledge management. Successful HR managers must be able to interface across these functions to meet their organizations’ strategic aims

Graduates of the program are able to enhance organizational performance and can satisfy company strategy while taking employees’ needs into account.

The program presents theory and backs that up with its practical application. Practical applications may take the form of: meetings with trade unions; developing a company’s training plan; in-company audits on absenteeism / employee turnover / social discrimination… Case studies will also be used extensively.

Courses cover: Global HR Issues, Strategic HR, Managing Change, Recruitment and Selection, Compensation and Benefits, Managing Careers, Employee and Social Relations, Ethics at Work, Working Conditions. Seminars and conferences take place with leading professional specialists and academic experts so that students get the best of both worlds.

The Human Resources Management MSc at SKEMA places emphasis throughout on vocational / operational teaching. Your career in HR will involve identifying organizational needs, creating strategic plans, devising organizational policy and procedures, measuring performance, identifying training needs, achieving results, coordinating resources and overseeing recruitment and employee development.

This program is relevant to almost any industry and has opened doors for graduates to Orange, Accenture / Andersen Consulting, Crédit Agricole, Hewlett Packard, SAP, PeopleSoft, IBM, Société Générale, Calyon, Total, Amadeus, Thales, NXP Wireless, among many others.

You will be able to take on a variety of management roles, principally as: HR manager, HR director, international human resources manager, recruitment consultant, head-hunter, learning and development officer. Other roles would be as a training manager, labor relations manager, dispute resolution specialist, careers development consultant.

sala-florian.jpgFlorian Sala is a Doctor of Experimental Psychology as well as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. SKEMA professor of Management and Human Resources Management and former Dean (2001-2003), he is program director of the MSc in Human Resources Management.

Conditions admission

ONE-YEAR MASTER OF SCIENCE

For students with a four-Year Bachelor's degree or equivalent
In order to apply for a one-year MSc program you must satisfy the following requirements:
* Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Honours degree or substantial professional experience).
* English language test to prove a minimum level of English: TOEFL 580 (paper-based), 237 (computer-based) or 92 (internetbased) / TOEIC 830 / IELTS 6.5.The test is waived for students who have a Bachelor’s degree from an English speaking university.
* A GMAT or GRE score will be to the candidate’s advantage.

The final step of your application process will be a face-to-face, or telephone, interview.

TWO-YEAR MASTER OF SCIENCE

For students with a three-year university degree
Year 1: MSc Prepapratory Program
Year 2: MSc
In order to apply for the two-year MSc program you must satisfy the following requirements:
*Three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
*A TOEFL/TOEIC or IELTS score report proving a sufficient level of English.
*A GMAT or GRE score will be to the candidate’s advantage.
The final step of your application process will be a face-to-face, or telephone, interview.

SUMMER PERIOD : Internship & Dissertation

SKEMA offers a comprehensive, two-term tutorial program to assist motivated students for the Level I examination of the CFA® Chartered Financial Analyst certification.

Required courses are worth five ECTS credits, electives are worth three credits

The tuition fee is 11,985 euros for each MSc.

The tuition fee for the one-year MSc Preparatory Program AND an MSc is 17,000 euros.

Transportation: bus pass for students (Antibes-Sophia): Free!
Recreational activities: 150 euros
TOTAL: 850 euros

Bear in mind that 5 or 6 books will be needed each semester (on average 50 euros each).
SKEMA Scholarships

SKEMA offers students with very good potential the opportunity to be granted scholarships for excellence that may entitle them to a rebate on their tuition of up to 5,000 euros.

The scholarship for excellence is based on merit according to the following criteria:
