Johnson Electric is the market and technology leader for Lighting Actuators, our motion solutions adjust headlamps and many more external and internal vision systems. We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Team Leader to guide a team of skilled engineers. In this role, you’ll provide technical support, develop robust components and align product development activities with our customers.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Lead the R&D engineering team of around 5 and act as an individual contributor to projects
Integrate customer requirements into product development from design to serial production
Allocate project resources for testing, validation and tooling
Engage with global engineering teams related to Vision/Lightning product development, component design and change management
Ensure technical folders are organized and design justifications are clear
Act as the main contact for internal and customer audits and customer visits
Ensure that the system complies with IATF and ISO standards
Applying and ensuring the application of safety, environmental and security rules
Manage risk boundaries and validate decisions
Our requirements:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in product development and project management in the automotive industry
French and English language proficiency
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of IATF and ISO standards
