YOUR PROFILE

As Head of Logistics at our Summer Camp, you will play a central role in preparing and managing all logistical operations. Before camp begins, you will take the lead in planning transport, coordinating with activity providers, and ensuring that supplies and equipment are ready. Once camp is underway, you will oversee daily operations, supervise transport teams, and make sure every activity runs safely, efficiently, and on time.
This position offers you the opportunity to combine leadership, organisation, and adaptability in a truly international and multicultural setting. By working closely with the Transport Manager, activity providers, and camp staff, you will create the foundation that allows campers to enjoy an unforgettable summer experience.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Before the Summer Camp begins:
• Act as the main contact for families to organise transfers between airports and campus.
• Liaise with activity providers to confirm bookings and ensure readiness.
• Develop and implement logistical plans to support camp activities within budget.
• Manage inventory and coordinate procurement and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Align transport strategy, planning, and execution with the Transport Manager.
During the Summer Camp:
• Coordinate daily logistics with various departments to meet operational needs.
• Oversee all transport operations for campers and staff, including arrivals, departures, and daily transfers.
• Supervise transport staff and drivers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Address and resolve logistical issues or emergencies quickly and effectively.
• Adjust and improve transport operations in collaboration with the Transport Manager.
Profil recherché
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Additional training or certification in transport or supply chain management is an asset.
• Proven experience in logistics, operations, transport coordination, or camp/event management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Minimum 22 years old, with EU citizenship or Swiss residency.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience supervising staff.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
• Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving capacity and a positive attitude.
• Flexible, creative, and adaptable in a multicultural environment.
