Position: Planning & Reporting Lead Engineering - SPS/URS Duration: 12-Month Contract (with possible extension) Location: France Paris Start Date: ASAP Recruiter: Oliver Sorensen
Mission Overview: A leading company in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Planning & Reporting Lead Engineering with expertise in SPS (Subsea Production System) and URS (Umbilical Riser Spool) for a major offshore project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing scheduling, planning, and progress measurement activities throughout the execution phase of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, control, and coordinate work package scheduling, planning, and progress measurement activities, ensuring seamless integration with the project's overall schedule.
Develop and maintain detailed schedules at the package level, including the identification of critical paths, potential clashes, and recommending corrective actions.
Provide accurate and timely reporting at the package level, including weekly and monthly status reports.
Liaise with package team leaders to ensure that all scheduling and progress measurement activities align with project goals.
Ensure strict confidentiality throughout all phases of the project.
Foster a strong culture of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with the company's HSSE rules and standards.
Assist package management with all matters related to scheduling, progress reporting, and general project reporting.
Challenge and review contractor schedules, procedures, and progress measurement methodologies, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Consolidate and track local content man-hours and contribute to the overall project reporting.
Contribute to lessons learned and provide feedback to continuously improve scheduling and reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Engineering (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized engineering discipline.
A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in large-scale projects and similar offshore environments.
Strong expertise in Primavera and progress measurement processes.
Previous experience in SPS packages is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills in English (fluent speaking and writing).
