Arago is opening a new position for a full-time permanent Experienced Accountant, based in Bordeaux. This role offers the opportunity to help build an efficient finance function in an international environment. You will play a key role in setting up a new accounting system and helping to organize accounting processes across the group.
* Maintain general and subsidiary accounting in compliance with local and international standards.
* Participate in monthly and periodical closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Monitor and reconcile intercompany flows.
* Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system :
* Define accounting and reporting needs.
* Coordinate with project teams.
* Participate in testing and deployment phases.
* Ensure regulatory and accounting compliance in all jurisdictions.
* Collaborate with external auditors and advisors.
* Actively support the structuring of accounting processes at an international level.
Profil recherché
* This is a newly created role – an exciting opportunity to make your mark.
* Higher education in Accounting or Finance.
* Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a group operating with international subsidiaries.
* Strong knowledge of accounting tools and prior exposure to ERP projects (experience with Sage is a plus).
* Fluent in English (spoken and written) – essential for communication with international teams.
* You’re known for your rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset, and a strong team spirit.
* You enjoy project-based work and contributing to transformation initiatives.
