NET-ZERO PROJECT MANAGER
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Net-Zero project Manager (H/F) who reports directly to Europe Head of Sustainability. In close collaboration with corporate and market interlocutors, you are responsible for the definition, deployment and the excellence of execution of Europe Net-Zero Roadmap to achieve Chanel targets. The ideal candidate will exhibit a balance between detailed and technical sustainability knowledge on one hand and, on the other hand, the stakeholder's management skills required to manage program in a complex and multinational organisation.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
Develop and implement Net Zero Strategies
Define, deploy, deliver and pilot Europe Net Zero Program in alignment with the House framework and quantitative targets
Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to decarbonise the business with a particular focus on footprint hotspots and methodology alignment in decarbonisation roadmaps. Revise and complete Net Zero roadmap 3 times a year
Lead, Monitor and Report
Actively lead several projects / initiativesEnergy and water managementMobilityFreight & Flows
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress towards decarbonization and reduction goals and ensure a common approach for data consolidation
By working closely with the different initiative leads, manage planning, facilitate communication between all involved stakeholders, keep programs in alignment with vision and objectives
Deep dive on carbon accounting methodology and contribute to validation of results alongside the Performance Team
Report on Net Zero Program and support Head of Sustainability Europe in specific presentations and communications
Regulatory Compliance and Standards
Contribute to climate related disclosures such as CSRD and CSDDD alongside Business and Performance teams across the house
Work with the legal team to understand and keep track of environmental regulations and industry standards affecting Europe region and identify areas for improvement
Become Europe’s go to person for questions related to Net Zero

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Your expertise from prior 5+ years of experience working in Nature and Climate topics, including carbon metrics, direct and indirect scope reductions, climate taxonomy
Your strong attention to detail combined with analytical and critical thinking
Your organizational skills, rigorousness and ability to follow up multiple subjects simultaneously
Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact, influence and motivate stakeholders and maintain successful team relationships
Your proactivity, reliability and your problem-solving approach
Your proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Your fluent written and oral English-skills
