The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Support Engineer to join our team. This role requires a highly organized and technically experienced professional to support IT operations at an industrial site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in end-user device management, basic network troubleshooting, and enterprise software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Device Support: Configure, repair, and replace end-user devices such as laptops, monitors, tablets, and smartphones.
Infrastructure Management: Work with Citrix, thin clients, and basic network setups (Cisco).
Software Expertise: Troubleshoot and support Windows OS, Office Suite (including O365 and Azure), Exchange, and SCCM.
On-Call Support: Be available for occasional weekend activities (approximately 10% of workload) and exceptional out-of-hours requirements.
Safety Compliance: Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety in an industrial environment.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support roles, with a focus on end-user devices and enterprise IT systems.
Familiarity with industrial environments is a plus.
Strong understanding of IT hardware and software, including Citrix, thin clients, and basic Cisco networking.
Proficiency in Windows OS, O365, Azure, Exchange, and SCCM.
Advanced proficiency in French and English.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car for transportation to the site.
